Councilors Tania Maldonado Garduño of the Citizen Movement, Alma Arredondo Salinas, former PAN member and now self-employed, as well as Roberto Barraza, Francisco Moreno Villafuerte, Fernando Martínez Acosta and Guillermo Enrique Alvídrez are the new members of the Cabinet for the 2024 -2027 municipal administration that begins on September 10, announced Mayor Cruz Pérez Cuéllar.
Tania Maldonado will head the General Directorate of Economic Development in place of Andrés Morales Arreola, while Alma Arredondo will move to the Directorate of Animal Welfare, a new department that is currently affiliated with the General Directorate of Ecology.
Fernando Martínez Acosta will be the Project Administration and Control Coordinator, and Roberto Barraza Jordán will be the advisor, since Daniela González Lara, who currently fulfills this role, will coordinate the Historic Center.

FRANCISCO MORENO VILLAFUERTE Graduate in Industrial Relations, Master in Finance. He has been director of the Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Ciudad Juárez, director of the Trust for Tourism Promotion of the State of Chihuahua, as well as of the Convention Bureaus of Ciudad Juárez and Chihuahua, member and delegate of the Mexican Council of the Medical Tourism Industry.
ROBERTO BARRAZA JORDÁN Graduate in Electrical Engineering, he is a founding member of the Mexican Association of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, member
Enrique Alvídrez Olivas as head of Education in place of Aracely González Holguín.
The mayor added that work is being done on reengineering the social area of the municipal administration through an external office, as the idea is to make adjustments to the Municipal System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF), Social Development and Community Centers. He is also the founding brother of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers of the State of Chihuahua, as well as alternate vice president of institutions and president and counselor of the Mexican Chamber of Construction in Juárez. He has been commissioner and secretary of the National Chamber of Industry and Promotion of Housing, as well as president of Juarenses AC and member of the Mexican Society of Engineers.
ALMA EDITH ARREDONDO SALINAS Public servant of the State and Municipal Government. She is currently a coordinating councilor of the Commission of Ecology and Civil Protection, has been a promoter of the permanent sterilization campaign for dogs and cats, was the driving force behind the transfer of the Anti-Rabies Center to the City Hall of Juárez to convert it into an Animal Welfare Center and was an intermediary of the “Save Benito” Movement.

He has been a substitute local deputy, administrative head of the State Government representation, delegate of the Sedue of the State Government in Juárez, deputy director of the commercial area of the Municipal Water and Sanitation Board, trustee in the municipal administration 2013-2016, professor at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez and interim director of the School of Optometry.
Yesterday, at a press conference, he stated that there will be other changes later on. “There should be other changes, I will be announcing them as I did with Hector and Enrique in each Directorate, I will be announcing them in the next few days,” he declared.
