Pasadena, California.- The Mexican National Soccer Team easily defeated New Zealand today at the Rose Bowl Stadium, with goals from: Orbelín Pineda, César Huerta and Luis Romo.
However, the victory was not enough for the controversial journalist, David Faitelson, to be critical of the Senior Team.
First, the TUDN commentator lamented that the poor results of the Tricolor caused a poor start to the return of ‘Vasco’ Aguirre as coach.
“The ‘goose that lays the golden eggs’ is getting tired… Poor, very poor ticket for Javier Aguirre’s presentation…” he posted on his ‘X’ account, formerly Twitter.
Shortly after, David Faitelson described Mexico’s match against New Zealand as “bad,” as the latter was not up to the level of the Tricolor this Saturday.
Accordingly, David Faitelson stated that “the problem with these games is that the opponent is not enough to measure how well or how badly you did…”
Mexico will play against Canada next Tuesday, September 10 from AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, at 6:30 p.m. (Mexico time), 5:30 p.m. (Culiacán time).
