Lampedusa, a boat capsizes: 21 migrants missing

A boat loaded with migrants has sunk in Italian territorial waters. The coast guard rescued 7 Syrians who were on a capsized boat. The survivors say that 28 of them left Libya last September 1st and that after a day of sailing the accident occurred. The survivors lost their cell phones. Missing – according to the stories of the 7 Syrians – as many as 21 people, including three children. The refugees were disembarked at the Favarolo dock in Lampedusa and have already been transferred to the hotspot in the Imbriacola district.
