The FW46 has big news in Holland
The FIA has notified through a document the fact that Williams staff broke curfew yesterdayThe system of exceptions before incurring a penalty allows for as many as three per season in the time slot in which Williams mechanics worked on the FW46s and it was the first time this season that Williams had broken the curfew with regards to the Thursday deadline.
Williams showed up at Zandvoort with the most substantial update package prepared in this 2024 and therefore the breaking of the curfew can be traced back to the work of the mechanics to fit these innovations to the cars of Alexander Albon and Logan Sargeant.
A year ago Alexander Albon was a real surprise in qualifying, placing the Williams in dry conditions on the second row with the fourth fastest time in Q3.
