Ciudad Juarez.- The College of Bachelors of the State of Chihuahua (COBACH) started the course ‘Educational Improvement of Teachers with Artificial Intelligence (MEDIA)’, an initiative in collaboration with the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
The course, which brought together more than 200 teachers from various schools, aims to provide teachers with tools to integrate artificial intelligence into their educational processes.
During the inauguration, officials and teachers of the presidium highlighted the importance of these initiatives for the modernization of education in Chihuahua.
Óscar Ibáñez, representative of Governor María Eugenia Campos, stressed the state government’s commitment to preparing teachers to face the challenges of the 21st century.
Santiago De las Casas Berumen, Administrative Director of COBACH, on behalf of the general director, said that this training will provide new tools to positively impact students.
Maurilio Fuentes Estrada, Undersecretary of Education and Sports, mentioned that this course is a significant step towards the digital transformation of education in the state.
The ceremony was held at the Borregos Gymnasium of the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Juarez.
The event was attended by prominent officials and academics, including Oscar Fidencio Ibanez Hernandez, representative of the Governor in Juarez; Reyes Humberto De Las Casas Muñoz, general director of the College of Bachelors of the State of Chihuahua; Judith Marcela Soto Moreno, general director of the TEC de Monterrey in Juarez; Laura Olivia Robledo Vega, northern zone coordinator of COBACH; Jose Luis Garcia Rodriguez, academic director of COBACH; and Raime Bustos, director of the Computer Technology Engineering program and project leader.
