Ciudad Juarez.- The actions of the Attorney General’s Office led in June to the creation of 77 investigation files for crimes against the Firearms and Explosives Law, which in the first half of 2024 amounted to the highest figure in the last three years.
In previous years, there was a decrease of up to 311 investigation files in the first six months of 2022, while in 2023 it rose to 385, a record that was surpassed this year.
In 2024, it began with 59 investigations derived from carrying firearms and explosives, then fluctuating in the following months in 71 cases, 52, 73, 67 and 77 in June.
