Poncle has finally announced the expected release date PS4 and PS5 versions of Vampire Survivorsthe action survival with roguelite mechanics and minimalist gameplay that has already captivated millions of players on other platforms. They will be available starting from August 29th via the PlayStation Store.
They will be available on the same day even the DLCs “Legacy of the Moonspell”, “Tides of the Foscari”, “Emergency Meeting” and “Operation Guns”. Prices have not been revealed at the moment, but we assume they will be in line with those of other platforms, so let’s talk about 4.99 euros for the base gamewith the prices of the expansions ranging between €1.99 and €2.49. What is Vampire Survivors?
For those who aren’t familiar, Vampire Survivors has players take on the role of dozens and dozens of different characters, with the aim of resisting as long as possible against hordes of monsters and demons, which will gradually become more numerous and stronger, creating a riot of pixels on the screen.
To do so, they can use a vast arsenal of weapons, from throwing knives and swords to very angry cats and confetti shooters. The simplicity of its addictive mechanics and the pixelated chaos on the screen have quickly made Vampire Survivors famous, becoming one of the most popular indie games of recent years. The game is also famous for its irony, with character and weapon names inspired by Italian memes and puns, just think of characters with names like O’Sole Meeo, Poppea Pecorina, Divano Thelma, McCoy-Oni and Gav’Et-Oni.
