Borderlands movie could bring back the curse of bad video game adaptations to film

The movie of Borderlands will be released on August 9, 2024 in the United States. Edgar Ortega, another critic, thinks that this project was approved by some executive who is not in tune with reality, and who thought that the ‘cool kids’ would be delighted with what the film offers.

Shak Lambert, in his review, states that Borderlands ‘is easily one of the worst movies of the year’noting that fans won’t like how the game’s characters are handled. Especially Tina, and called the film a half-baked copy of Guardians of the Galaxy.
