Kai Cenatone of the most famous streamers in the world with almost 13 million followers on Twitch, has decided to play Bloodborne livenot only for his own enjoyment and that of his spectators, but also for convince Sony and FromSoftware to make a remaster and/or a PC conversion.
During a 2014 souls-like broadcast, Cenat explained that it has enough media relevance as a streamer to be able to bring the popular demand for a re-release of the game and a PC version to the attention of those in charge, with the hope that the wish of millions of players will be granted.
Cenat’s words
“I don’t think I have the power to do that, but surely I have the power to bring attention to a topic within the Souls community,” Cenat explained in the clip below.
“I feel that the developers watched my every move when I played these games. So the least I can do is try to push the narrative for something to happen. PlayStation, FromSoftware, this is one of the most requested games for a remaster and a PC release. I haven’t even touched it. Just because I joined this community, I want to go ahead and say, “Hey, can you guys please do something?”
If you think Cenat’s idea of capitalizing on its popularity to bring to the attention of the media the desire of many gamers for a PC conversion or remaster of Bloodborne is a complete lie… well, maybe he’s not exaggerating.
In fact, the streamer has shown that he knows how to move the masses and make headlines all too easily. For example, exactly a year ago he organized an event for fans at Union Square in New York where he promised to give away PS5s to the public. The result? What was supposed to be an event for a hundred fans gathered thousands of people in the squarewith the situation quickly escalating into chaos, riots and violence on the streets, requiring the intervention of 1,000 police officers, while Kai Cenat was taken to court on charges of inciting violence and unlawful assembly.
