Omoda and Jaecoo continues to strengthen its network in Italy in view of the arrival on the market of the brand’s first models. The American brand of the Chery group has announced the beginning of a strategic collaboration with the Arcese Group, a global logistics operator, at the Basiano Logistics Center, located near Milan. This center, owned by Arcese and operational since 2018, covers an area of over 50,000 square meters and offers a wide range of services, including sea and air freight, warehouse logistics and LTL distribution.
The warehouse available for Omoda and Jaecoo
Thanks to this partnership, Omoda & Jaecoo will be able to benefit from Arcese’s efficiency and logistics capacity, in line with its “In Europe for Europe” strategy aimed at providing a fast and effective after-sales service to its customers. The collaboration includes the use of over 2,000 square meters of the compound dedicated exclusively to Omoda & Jaecoo for the storage of over 20,000 references. Deliveries can thus be guaranteed within 24 hours throughout Italy (48 hours for the islands), ensuring premium assistance for all Italian customers.
Spare parts from China and the first models in the showroom
All spare parts have been shipped from China together with the first cars arriving in Italy these days to allow an immediate response to any customer requests, guaranteeing a premium service worthy of the Omoda & Jaecoo brand. The first examples of Omoda 5, the first intelligent crossover SUV of the Omoda & Jaecoo brand, are arriving at the 40 Italian showrooms and can be tested and ordered by customers with prices starting from 27,900 euros in the next few days. For contracts signed by 08/31/2024, it will be possible to purchase the Premium version with full optional at the price of the Comfort, with a customer advantage of 2,000 euros. Initially available with the 1.6 TGDI turbo petrol 4-cylinder endothermic engine with 145 HP and 278 Nm combined with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, Omoda 5 will also be available in the 100% electric E5 version by the end of the year. The same engine will equip the Jaecoo J7, expected after the summer, which will also arrive with an innovative plug-in hybrid unit within the year.
