Juarez City.- Two men were deprived of their liberty this afternoon at the intersection of Torreón de Cantera and Torreón de Castilla streets, in the Pradera de las Torres subdivision, reported elements of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) who arrived as first responders.
One of the victims was identified as Ignacio Gallegos, 29, while his companion remains unknown, according to reports at the scene.
Both people were driving a white Chevrolet Tahoe pickup truck with national license plates EJN075B from the state of Chihuahua, it was observed. According to witnesses, the occupants of the pickup truck were intercepted at that intersection by armed men who forced them into a vehicle, the details of which were not provided.
The white vehicle was abandoned and will be sent to the fiscal yard of the Northern District Prosecutor’s Office, which is investigating this illegal deprivation of liberty, said the preventive police officers.
