As the THQ Nordic Showcase 2024 comes to a close, developers at Tarsier Studiosauthors of the first two Little Nightmares and Teraway: Paper Adventures, have piqued the curiosity of players by presenting a mysterious teaser trailer of their next game, which apparently will be a horror shades like their latest works.
The video actually gives us very few clues about the nature of this project, inviting players to follow the full presentation of the game fixed atOpening Night Live which will precede the opening of Gamescom scheduled for 8:00 PM Italian time on August 20th.
What the teaser trailer shows
The film opens with a shot of what appears to be a dark, dilapidated farm barn, strewn with meat piles on the floor. The shot then zooms in on a pig with its abdomen slit open and stitched up roughly. The stitches pop, causing the animal’s innards to spill out, and then surprisingly it says “welcome.”
“From the creators of Little Nightmares I and II comes a completely new visionunlike anything you’ve seen before,” reads the description accompanying the video.
As previously stated, this teaser trailer is really too short to give us an idea of the nature of this game, except that it will most likely be horror-themed. We’ll find out the truth in a few weeks. In the meantime, what do you think? Let us know in the comments.
