During the setting offered by THQ Nordic, the developers of Weappy Studio, authors of the series This is The Poice, presented The Eternal Life of Goldmana scrolling action adventure in which we play a sprightly old man with more than one trick up his sleeve. The announcement was accompanied by a trailer, which you can find in the player below.
The game is currently in development for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nitentendo Switch and PCbut it doesn’t have a specific release date yet, with more details expected to arrive in the coming weeks and months.
An old hero, but still very capable
The first official video opens with a dense exotic forest inhabited by imaginative animals threatened by a mysterious menace with tentacles and flames. The situation will have to be saved Goldmana sprightly hero who is incredibly agile for his age and in possession of a multipurpose walking stick, which comes in handy for things like leaping into very high places, creating magical barriers that drive away enemies, or, if necessary, using it the old-fashioned way to beat up the unfortunate person on duty.
In the trailer we also see a good variety of settings, from the aforementioned forest, to caves, ruins and metal cities, as well as enemies and situations, which create a mix of action that is at least convincing on paper.
