Apparently, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD have been doing very well, despite being remastered versions of old GameCube and 3DS classics. Both games have sold over 1 million copies, making them Nintendo Switch’s “Million Sellers” list.
Confirmation comes from Nintendo’s financial data for the quarter ending June 30, which sees Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door at 1.76 million copies sold and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD at 1.19 million copies. Remember that the first has been available in stores since May 23, while the second arrived on June 27.
Nintendo Switch’s Best-Selling Games
In addition to the data for these two games, Nintendo has updated the sales numbers for all of its best-selling games, which you can find in the ranking below. In first place by a clear margin is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with 62.9 million copies sold, followed by Animal Crossing: New Horizons with 45.85 million copies and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with 34.66 million copies.
