The franchise of Warhammer 40,000with a vast target audience, has been attempting for several years now to expand into new forms of entertainment, including video games and films.
But there is some uncomfortable newsas reported by the newspaper Insider Gamingprecisely with regards to this last type of content.
By means of a partnership with AmazonGames Workshop is in fact working on a motion picture film dedicated to the franchise that should have the famous actor Henry Cavill as the protagonist but, according to the latest statements from the company, the whole thing could end up in a flop.
The company, which made its collaboration with Amazon official in December, has always declared that it has 12 months time to work with the eCommerce giant to develop a plan for the production of the film, but at the moment the project seems to be at a standstill.

Games Workshop recently stated that have only 6 months to go before the definitive cancellation of the project and that, for the moment, the ideas put on the table are only a few and rather divergent from each other.

In short, with less than half a year to go before the end of the collaboration, there is still no defined plan and, if things don’t change course immediatelythis could mean that the film will never see the lightmuch to the chagrin of Cavill, who has always been a great lover of the saga.
