Stellar Blade now it is one PlayStation Plus Premium games on trial of Sony, with subscribers to the highest tier of the service who can therefore venture into the initial stages of the action exclusively for PS5 created by Shift-Up Games.
Nothing strange so far, if it weren’t for the curious timing with which the publication of this test version took place, given that it practically coincides with the silent removal of the game demo released on March 29th on the PlayStation Store and accessible for free by everyone, even non-PlayStation Plus subscribers.
The mystery of the missing demo
Trying to search for the Stellar Blade demo on the PlayStation Store, both from console and from the web, you get no results. Even if you manage to find the link via Google, you are sent to an error page. On the other hand, the demo is still available for download only for those who had already downloaded it previously, through the PS5 purchased content library.
Furthermore, we found no warnings from Sony regarding this removal. And also in the article published on the PlayStation Blog on March 25thwhere the release date of this demo is announced, there is no mention of a limited-time availability.
In short, for the moment it is a real mystery and we are waiting for clarification from Sony on the matter. In the meantime, we remind you that the time trial versions of PlayStation Plus Premium give you the opportunity to access the full game for a limited period of time, in this case 2 hours, with the possibility of transferring the progress made if the user decides to buy it later.
