As long anticipated, Mojang has published the Minecraft version 1.21, the so-called Tricky Trials update, which introduces a lot of new content to the game. Launched on PC, console and mobile, both in Bedrock and Java versions, Tricky Trials has as its main feature the Trials Chamberswhich adds new mobs, new blocks, new rewards and a new weapon.
The news
We are therefore talking about a major update, which is accompanied from an official animated trailerwhich you can see below.
As mentioned, the main novelty are the Trial Chambers, new dungeons in which you have to defeat waves of progressively difficult mobs. To be able to get to the end of the challenge you must be well equipped to resist the assaults, so as to bring home the loot. It’s possible face the challenges alone or in cooperative modewith a different level of difficulty depending on the number of participants.
The two new mobs are found in the Trial Chambers: a poisonous skeleton called The Bogged, and a creature that appears to be made of wind (it’s shaped like a tornado) called The Breeze. Another novelty are the Ominous Trials, which are obtained by drinking from Ominous bottles and which trigger special events that are decidedly complicated to manage, such as raids and assaults.
As for the weapon mentioned above, it’s about the bat, which is achieved with a breeze rod and a heavy core. The second can be found in an ominous vault. The mace has three possible enchantments: Density, Brach and Wind Charge. Many additions also to crafting, with objects and materials related to the Trial Chambers.
