The long-standing collaboration between MotorSport Vision (MSV) and Tatuus is enriched by a new chapter, with the presentation of the new MSV-GB3-025. Starting next season the car will be a protagonist in the GB3 championship, a Formula 3 Regional category competition organized by the holding company of former F1 driver Jonathan Palmer and born from the British Formula 3 BRDC. In its various phases the championship has contributed to the training of drivers of the caliber of George Russell, Lando Norris and Oliver Bearman.
The new car, which will replace the current Tatuus MSV-022, will feature a completely new chassis and a latest generation design, inspired by the most recent Formula 1 trends. The MSV-GB3-025 will be the first Tatuus equipped with DRS , and will be equipped with a 280 horsepower Mountune engine (up from the current 250). The overall aerodynamic package will also guarantee a notable increase in the downforce generated (estimated under equal conditions at around 35% more than the car currently in use, already known as one of the best performing in the category), with consequent improvement in performance and overall efficiency, to the full advantage of the growth of young drivers. Results made possible by the design of all surfaces: from the front and rear wings to the bellies, the bottom and the diffuser, without neglecting the covers of the external and internal profiles of the wheels.
New design and technical choices such as the size of the Pirelli tires, which increases by 2 inches at the front and rear, compatibility with sustainable fuels, a lighter Sadev gearbox and new and more efficient electronics. An innovative, high-performance and lightweight car (560Kg). Not only performance, but also safety, a key element of Tatuus’ vision for all its single-seaters and for all the drivers who travel the steps of the motorsport pyramid on board them. The new Halo mounted on the car will be made of titanium and there will be no shortage of renovations in the crash boxes, anti-intrusion panels and protections for the driver from any type of impact.
The MSV-GB3-025 is the result of over 10 years of collaboration between MSV and Tatuus and was developed by the engineers of the Tatuus HQ in Lainate following the training and high competitiveness objectives of the championship.

“The long-standing collaboration with MSV and in particular with the GB3 championship is of primary importance for Tatuus – declared Giovanni Delfino, CEO of Tatuus – and over the years has given rise to excellent cars, capable of high performance and on which they have grown some of the best professional drivers on the grid today in the most important championships around the world. We are certain that the MSV-GB3-025 will represent a new big step in this direction, confirming once again the value of the championship in the Motorsport pyramid and at the same time the Tatuus engineering capabilities.”
“The MSV-GB3-025 has a special meaning for us – declared Gianfranco De Bellis, president of Tatuus -. A project on which we worked hard and with great passion to create an innovative and high-impact single-seater that we can’t wait to see on track next season. As always, special thanks go to Jonathan Palmer and all his collaborators, for the trust they have placed in our brand for over 10 years and for the important work carried out by MSV in the world of Motorsport”.
“GB3 is already established as one of the most important development championships in Europe – declared Jonathan Palmer, CEO of MSV -, capable of training some of the best young drivers in the global panorama such as the 2021 champion Zak O’Sullivan, who came second in the last edition of the FIA F3 championship and winner of the Monaco 2024 Formula 2 Feature Race. Or like Luke Browning, champion in 2022 and already on the top step of the podium in Formula 3 races and currently second in the championship. Both have already secured the prestigious Aston Martin Autosport BRDC Award following their successes in GB3 and have become members of the Williams F1 Driver Academy. It is a joy to see our young drivers make great strides in their respective careers towards F1 and I have no doubt that the best talent seen in GB3 will make it to the top category in the coming years. F1 is now more meritocratic than ever and all of us at MSV, Tatuus and Mountune have made our experience and knowledge available, in collaboration with the Championship Teams, to ensure GB3 takes a new step forward, so that it can always cover best meets the reference needs of the category: high performance, fairness, the highest safety standards and great basic values. To ensure that all the higher categories can increasingly look to GB3 with the certainty of finding the best talents for their future.”
