From the road to the track, from ICE technology to electric. And finally, the sea. The story of Abarth it also passes through water: the Scorpion car manufacturer has in fact presented Offshore, a new boat previewed at what many define as the most exclusive car show in the world, the Top Marques in Monaco. It will be available, Abarth itself reports, in a limited edition of 500 units, all fully customizable.
From the road to the sea: the new Abarth Offshore
The vessel was presented by Car Off Shore and was designed with contribution from the Fiat and Abarth Style Center, “focusing on the brand’s sportiness, aggressiveness, bright colors and exciting performance”. Concretely, the new Abarth Offshore presents a metallic green bodywork, which becomes iridescent in the sunlight, and is enriched with dark hazelnut details and stitching. In addition to very evident sporty lines, the entire structure of the boat features the rigid HardTop, which envelops the passenger compartment and protects the driver with a versatile canopy system.
Complete equipment
On board we find not only a couple of Besenzoni sports seats equipped with an ergonomic quilted leather backrest, but also a matching pair of 4-point harnesses and a steel support base cushioned by Wave Shock. As for the choice of materialsranging from Synteak synthetic teak with customizations to the railing that follows the clear lines from stern to bow.
500 examples of 230 HP
The equipment as standard it includes a Garmin stereo system with RGB LEDs, 4 Fusion speakers and a subwoofer that uses the dashboard as a sound box. Separate mention goes to the aft deck which includes an elegant recessed steel staircase. We close with the beating heart of Abarth Offshore: this boat is powered by a external water jet engine on boardwhich is capable of delivering impressive performances with its 230 HP of power and Riva racing exhausts.
