Pep Guardiola’s future as a coach is uncertain. The current Manchester City strategist has hinted that he could leave this institution once he fulfills his contract. In this context, some communicators and fans of FC Barcelona have considered the possibility of the legendary strategist returning to the Camp Nou to help his beloved team get out of the crisis in which he currently finds himself.
In a recent press conference, Guardiola spoke about the situation of Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva, and also had words about a possible return to Barcelona. The Spanish strategist, during a Legends Trophy event at the Empordá Golf Club, an exclusive golf tournament for former soccer players, ruled out his arrival at the Blaugrana club.
When asked if the door was closed on his possible return to Barcelona in the future, Guardiola was very specific in his response.
“Yes, the door is closed”

Guardiola also spoke about the dismissal of Xavi Hernández as Barcelona coach. The current Manchester City coach stated that it is not his fault that Xavi’s playing style was compared to the one he implemented at Can Barça.
“I assure you that it is not my fault. Whatever may have happened is not my fault, I have been away from Barcelona for 14 years and I am not suspected of anything in this regard”
