Fear returns to Antarctica.
Night Dive Studios just released the trailer for The Thing: Remasteredthe third-person survival horror video game originally developed in 2002. This remaster, long awaited by fans of the genre, is a direct sequel to the classic 1982 horror film by John Carpenter.
The plot of The Thing: Remastered follows the events of Captain Blake, a member of the United States Army Special Forces, sent to the Antarctic research station in the film to find out what happened to the research team. Blake and his team will have to survive the dangers of the fearsome shape-shifting alien that gives the game its title.
The trailer has already aroused great enthusiasm among fans, promising to bring back to life the claustrophobic and tense atmosphere that made Carpenter’s film a classic of horror cinema. Thanks to graphic improvements and new features, Night Dive Studios aims to offer an even more immersive and frightening experience than the 2002 original.
