Everyone is looking for a seat
The driver market for the 2025 season continues to boil and – for both the top and bottom teams – negotiations continue to define the ten line-ups. Among the names that have recently emerged to win a seat there is also that of Mick Schumacherwho has been competing in F1 since the end of 2022 and is this year involved in the WEC with Alpine.
The French team itself could think of bringing the German son of art back to the Circus, especially considering the divorce with Esteban Ocon.
What future for Mick
Schumacher’s former team principal at Haas, Gunther Steiner – who had never had an idyllic relationship with the young German driver – spoke to the newspaperor Die Welt of the possibility of seeing him on the track again. “He [Mick Schumacher] he won’t have many options because in 2025 two seasons will have already passed without racing in F1” commented the Bolzano manager, without however ruling out a possible twist.
“However, it should not be ruled out [un ritorno] – he added – Who would have thought that, after a three-year break, Hülkenberg would return to being a regular driver and then become an Audi works driver? Who would have imagined that Alonso would be so strong again after his time out, or that Hamilton would leave Mercedes? Anything is possible in Formula 1“.
