Also Skate is back in action on the occasion of the Summer Game Fest, with a crazy video which, before showing the gameplay of the game, focused on theintroduction to M-Corpa mysterious company that will be at the center of the game’s story.
Constructed as a sort of “real” video document in the style of The Office, the trailer introduces a series of strange characters who work at M-Corp, a mega corporation that seems to be an oppressive presence in the world of Skate but whose employees do not appear to be so disturbing, judging by this introduction.
At the end of the video it is also possible to see some fragments from the Skate gameplay, on which work has evidently continued, although without any major announcements so far.
A return awaited for years
Skate is the new chapter of the popular EA series, which returns to the scene 14 years after Skate 3, therefore highly anticipated by fans.
This new version also seems to keep some peculiar characteristics of the originals intact.
In this case, it is a sort of open world all built around skateboardingwhich also allows us considerable control of movements on the board with an almost simulation-like approach.
All this should also return with the new Skate, of which we await further information. There’s no release date yet, but reportedly i playtests open to the public they should start this autumn, while other interiors have already been underway for some time.
