“No one is going to be affected, a process has to be opened so that they know each other well.“said the former head of Government of Mexico City, when asked about the constitutional reforms that will be discussed by the Congress of the Union.
Claudia Sheinbaum emphasized the importance of transparency and public dialogue. She emphasized that, although it is not yet defined, her position is that a dialogue must be opened, the proposal evaluated and eventually approved, ensuring that the people of Mexico understand and participate in the process, as is usually done in parliament.
“It is not yet defined, my position is that a dialogue has to be opened, that the proposal has to be evaluated and at the time, approved. But the proposal has to be explained well, that the people of Mexico know it, that it can be opened … as they normally do in parliament, through an open parliament,” he stressed.
Regarding the letter sent to him by the workers of the Judicial Branch, he assured that it will be discussed at the time and no one will be affected, and he reiterated that a process must be opened so that the proposal is known.

In preparation for her administration, Claudia Sheinbaum has begun holding meetings with business owners and members of her team.
“With Altagracia, as you know, we have been working on this Regional Development and Business Relocation program, so we are strengthening it, several businessmen have also come to talk to me,” Sheinbaum added.
