Western states are harming themselves by creating the image of an enemy from Russia, said Russian President Vladimir Putin. Writes about this RIA News.
The politician met with the heads of international news agencies. “There is no need to invent anything and form an opinion about Russia based on these ideas. There is no need to create an image of an enemy from Russia,” he urged.
Earlier, Putin said that Western countries removed themselves from the list of tourist destinations for Russians and suffered significant losses due to Russophobia and anti-Russian sanctions. According to the president, thus, the West lost not only income, but also reputation, as well as the trust of its partners.
According to the head of state, Russophobia blinds the West and deprives it of reason. He also equated Russophobia with racism.
