Today, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received in Abu Dhabi His Excellency Paulson Panaba, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Labor and Trade of Tuvalu.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the UAE and the islands of Tuvalu and ways to enhance them in several sectors, including economic, investment, and renewable energy, and exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed His Excellency Paulson Banaba and the accompanying delegation, stressing the distinguished relations between the two countries and the keenness to strengthen them in all fields, especially development.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ahmed bin Ali Mohammed Al Sayegh, Minister of State, His Excellency Rashid Matar Sultan Al-Siri Al Qamzi, UAE Ambassador to New Zealand and Non-Resident Ambassador to Tuvalu, and His Excellency Omar Shehadeh, Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Caribbean and Pacific Affairs.
