Toronto, Canada – The Mexican Women’s National Team concluded its tour of Canada, a country it faced twice in recent days; closed the series with one and one loss today.
The team led by Pedro López succumbed the previous Saturday 2-0, but on this day the Tri Femenil prevented another defeat by tying the score with a trick from the ‘Maga’, Lizbeth Jacqueline Ovalle.
The Tigres Femenil soccer player grabbed the ball and mercilessly took a shot that hit the corner of the Canadian goalkeeper, Sabrina DÁngelo, around the 70th minute.
Mexico suffered a cold spell in the first moments of the second half, following Kadeisha Buchanian’s goal that left Esthefanny Barreras without a chance.
Even so, the Mexican Women’s Team continued forward and with a gem from Lizbeth Ovalle they achieved a draw at the National Stadium of Canada. 1-1 official.
