Apparently Microsoft has decided to renew the look of the game covers for Xbox Seriesalthough these are very sober changes and could even escape an eye that doesn’t pay much attention to detail.
The confirmation comes from the boxart of the Green Cross version of Kena Bridge of Spirits announced a few hours ago, which you can find below, as well as the retail version of Clock Tower Rewind which appeared on Limited Run Games website (which at the time of writing is unreachable).
Little differences
To better highlight the differences, in the image below we have positioned the old cover format on the left, while on the right the new one that should replace it. In particular, it seems that the white label in the top left corner with the writing indicating the platforms (Xbox Series Smart Delivery” and the Xbox Series X|S logo, which on the contrary have been completely removed.
For the moment we do not have absolute certainty that Microsoft has actually changed the covers of the Xbox games, with those spotted online in the last few hours which could be temporary images. We will probably find out in the coming months, as new games are released for the Verdecrociate consoles.
Remaining at Microsoft, it seems that a Square Enix RPG could soon arrive on Xbox Series X|S and within the Game Pass, at least according to eXtas1s sources.
