Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – Kizad Group announced today the signing of a Musataha agreement with Energy – NMDC, a subsidiary of the NMDC Group, to establish a new industrial facility in Kizad.
Under the 50-year Musataha agreement, Energy – NMDC will invest 367 million dirhams in developing a new industrial facility on an area of 224,000 square meters in Kizad dedicated to modular manufacturing.
This strategic project adds many advantages to the regional oil and gas sector, including providing world-class engineering, procurement, project management, fabrication, installation and commissioning services to project owners and operators. The facility will also provide an estimated 3,000 new job opportunities.

Energy – NMDC owns modern industrial facilities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with a production capacity of 100,000 tons of structural steel every year on an area of 1.3 million square meters. The company is also expanding its capabilities through a new 450,000 square meter manufacturing yard in Ras Al Khair Port in Saudi Arabia, which is expected to have a production capacity of 60,000 tons annually by 2026.
The company also owns a fleet of 22 marine vessels equipped with modern facilities to support its operations in shallow and deep waters. It has the ability to lift structures weighing up to 4,200 tons. It is also equipped to lay subsea cables and pipelines, with a diameter of up to 66 inches at depths of 10. meters to 2.000 metres.
