YouGov: almost half of Americans supported the verdict of former US President Trump
Almost half of Americans considered the jury’s decision in the case of former US President Donald Trump to be justified and supported the forgery of documents. About it testify results of a survey by the sociological company YouGov.
As follows from the data of sociologists, only 30 percent of survey participants called the verdict unreasonable. Another 19 percent expressed doubts about the correctness of the decision. At the same time, 50 percent of respondents supported the court’s position.
Thus, the majority of survey participants believe that Trump had a fair trial. At the same time, he will be able to file an appeal and challenge the decision.
Earlier, a jury in Manhattan criminal court found the former US President guilty of all 34 counts in a criminal case for concealing payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels. The sentencing date is set for July 11.
