Bundestag deputy Strack-Zimmermann called for 900 thousand reservists to be registered
Germany needs to register 900 thousand reservists due to an alleged threat from Russia. This was stated by the head of the Bundestag Defense Committee Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, reports Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
“We must gain defensive capability as soon as possible (…) If we could get half of them [отслуживших] with their respective experience as reservists, this would be an incredible success,” the politician said.
