Yesterday there was a new State of Play presentation, in which we saw some striking titles such as Concorde, Astro Bot, Monster Hunter Wilds and a few more that were shown to the delight of viewers looking for high-caliber ads. That has led to two aspects, with people who have appreciated what was put on the screen by PlayStationand other fans who have been quite disappointed by the lack of something that really catches their attention.
Although they closed with two games that were generally liked, for several players the presentation launched by the brand felt quite mediocre, given that we saw many games that had already been presented and their trailers were almost not impressive at all. To this is added a lot of focus on concordea segment that took up a third of the 30-minute presentation, they also once again showed content that could be put into simple tweets like God of War Ragnarok on PC and the remaster of Until Dawn.
Of course, the brand had already made it clear that big releases were not going to arrive this year from its AAA studios, but it is a bit unfortunate that there are not at least three small games prepared for the following months, one we already have, AstroBot, but things were missing like Loco Roco, Fat Princess, among others that people might like. In fact, it is time for them to put Half Molecule with another Little Big Planetafter all they already closed the servers of the third part a few weeks ago.
Here is the description of the presentations:
State of Play is a series of video presentations hosted by Sony Interactive Entertainment to provide updates on PlayStation games. Similar to Nintendo Direct or Xbox Showcase, these streams focus on announcements of new titles, trailers, updates to existing games, and news related to the PlayStation platform. Here I give you a detailed summary of what State of Play is and what it entails:
It is a crucial tool for Sony Interactive Entertainment to keep the PlayStation community informed and excited about what’s new on its platform. It’s a direct and efficient way to communicate with players and provide them with first-hand information about what they can expect in the near future.
For now there are no announcements of new events for the future, there are rumors of a Showcase for September.

Author’s note: It definitely wasn’t the best event ever, but at least we had Astro Bot, and Monster Hunter is still many months away from playing, we’ll have to wait.
