Two lovers of foreign things arrived at a convenience store in Madero City, Tamaulipaswith the intention of taking the money from the day’s sales, however, to their surprise there was no cash, so they decided not to leave empty-handed and took just over 2 thousand pesos in cigarettes and bottles of wine.
According to the authorities, the affected establishment is located on Benito Juárez and Monterrey avenues, in the Unidad Nacional neighborhood, where two men arrived in broad daylight and, with the use of a knife, demanded the money from the cash register. the worker, however she showed them that there was no cash.
It was revealed that upon arriving at the store the men, one with a robust build, was wearing navy blue shorts, a dark t-shirt and a black cap, the other subject wore a white t-shirt, and was of a thin build, they walked to the refrigerated area as if they were do some shopping, then one of them went to the checkout area, with a knife in his hand, he threatened the cashier.
When they realized that there was no cash one told the other to start grabbing cigarettes and alcohol bottles which they put in the backpack they were carrying and then ran out of the place towards the Miramar cruise ship.
Once the men left the establishment, the employees called 911 to report what had happened, when elements of the police arrived at the scene. National Guard and Investigative Police became aware of the events and set up a search operation through nearby streets, however no one was located.
