Monster Hunter Wilds has been shown with new images and with a series of details from Capcom, after the presentation of the first, engaging official trailer which took place last night, during the State of Play.
The shots show the scenery of Forbidden Landssome of the monsters that we will face within this wild setting and the protagonists of the adventure, members of a team sent to the site by the Research Commission together with a mysterious child.
Monster Hunter Wilds will offer the chance to explore multidimensional and dynamic biomes, which can transform in unexpected ways. The one shown in the trailer is the Windward Plains, a region that includes deserts, rocky mountains but also green, rolling prairies.
A wild new world
As we saw in the first trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds, there are many monsters that we will find waiting for us in the Forbidden Lands, such as the small herbivorous Dalthydons and the Ceratonoth, but also much larger creatures such as the Doshaguma or the amphibious Chatacabra.
In terms of gameplay, some new features stand outsuch as the seamless transitions from the intermission sequences to the in-game action and the new mount made up of the Seikret, which will allow us to perform certain actions while we move on their backs within the map.
It will also be possible to connect Monster Hunter Wilds save data with World and Iceborne save data to obtain various bonus items, including the Felyne Hide Set, the Felyne Acorn Spade and more.
The release of the new chapter of the Capcom series is scheduled for 2025 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series
