Born in 2023, theAccess-Ability Summer Showcase is a very particular annual digital event, which aims to present and raise awareness of video games in development which are made by people with disabilities or which are designed to have accessibility settings to ensure that they can also be used by players with disabilities. The showcase is organized by Laura Kate Dale, an English journalist, author and activist who has promised a larger and more curated event for the second edition.
When and how to watch it
The Access-Ability Summer Showcase will be presented by Laura Kate Dale on her Twitch and YouTube channels in the original language on June 7th at 5pm Italian, but will also be commented and translated into Italian by the Multiplayer.it editorial team on our Twitch channel .
What to expect
The list of games that will be presented during the Access-Ability Summer Showcase 2024 has not been anticipated, but during the last edition fifteen games were presented in the space of approximately 43 minutes, so it is reasonable to expect an in-line or more substantial presentation of the past one. For each game the accessibility options will be shown in detail and the design choices made by the developers so that as many people as possible are able to play them without feeling excluded.
