According to what was reported by Exputer, based on unspecified internal sources, it seems that Microsoft Xbox has signed a partnership agreement with Hundred Star, the new team created by the founders of Rocksteady as well as authors of the Batman Arkham trilogy, to finance the first game by the new studio.
There is still no information on the game in question, which in fact has not yet been announced, but according to the report from eXtas1s, a leaker who has previously proven to be quite reliable, it seems that this is in development, a rather ambitious project created with funding and support of Xbox Game Studios.
For the rest, what has been leaked concerns a project triple A, single player, action adventure genre and built on Unreal Engine 5therefore a set of undoubtedly interesting features.
A new and promising team from the founders of Rocksteady
Hundred Star is a new development team founded by Sefton Hill and Jamie Walkerthat is, two of Rocksteady’s founders and key figures of the studio in question, who helped create the Batman Arkham trilogy and the other titles of the label.
In 2023, after breaking away from the previous team during the development of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, they formed this new studio with headquarters established in London, and since then there has been no information on ongoing projects, until now. These are still rumors, but if it were really a direct partnership with Xbox Game Studios it would be natural to expect aexclusive console, at least in the first phase.
However, the situation on this front is proving to be quite fluid, so it is difficult to have certainties. At the moment, Hundred Star is made up of around 100 employees and over 20 of these come directly from Rocksteady, so for all intents and purposes they are part of the authors of the Batman: Arkham trilogy.
