Dayro Moreno is the forward of the Once Caldas that this year he broke the mark that the Argentine had Sergio Galvan to be the top scorer in Colombian soccer with 224 goals.
Was there a conflict?
The club’s coach surprised last Sunday, Hernán Dario Herrerawhen he did not send Moreno onto the field for the second half of the match against Tolima, which they lost 0-1 at home.
Speculation began, since it was not possible that Herrera had brought out the team’s top scorer for extra time. Did something happen in the dressing room?
Mateo García, one of the young Once Caldas players, clarified the situation in the tournament regarding Moreno’s alleged fight with some teammates in the dressing room.
“The fight thing is totally false. Many times, of what comes out there, you have to believe less than half. This is a very healthy group, something that has characterized this group is that it is a big family,” said the soccer player on Caracol Radio.
And he added: “It is a great reference. Indeed, no one wants to lose and he is an extremely competitive person. He gets angry when we make mistakes, when he is not well, when he feels that he can give us more. But, nothing that is being said out there happened.”
Finally, García warned: “The team entered the dressing room with all the attitude, encouraging. Even Dayro himself giving encouragement to all of us to be able to reverse that 1-0 that Tolima led us.”
