Imola, where it all began on the pre-season test day last April 11th, is ready to host the second round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia next weekend with as many as 30/35 drivers expected at the start and also some related news dedicated to the enthusiasts like the new contest promoted by Tag Heuer in the context of the series.
After the 1-1 between Ten Voorde and Masters in Misano, the Santerno circuit awaits renewed challenges between the top protagonists, also fresh from the first and third place respectively obtained in the Supercup in Montecarlo just yesterday and among which they hope to enter the many Italian and foreign leading players aiming for a place in the sun in the prestigious Italian single-brand store.
Ten Voorde is actually also fresh from the success achieved at the opening of the Supercup season in Imola during the F1 GP on 19 May (on that occasion Klein was third) and, adding the fact that even in the national collective test he had led the operations, it will not be a surprise to find him at the top to try to extend himself in the standings, where Masters is trailing by just 4 points.
After the night-days in Misano, the second act in Imola will return to a more traditional program. The engines will start on Friday 30 May for the hour of free practice scheduled from 3.20pm to 4.20pm.
On Saturday morning we return to the track at 9.00 for the 40 minutes in qualifying that will decide the lineups for both scheduled races, taking into consideration the best two laps of each driver.
Also on Saturday, race 1 kicks off at 3.20pm, while race 2 takes place on Sunday 2 June at 12.00. Both over the canonical distance of 30 minutes + 1 lap, they will be broadcast live and on demand on Dazn and in live streaming always in HD on www.carreracupitalia.itwith commentary entrusted to the warm and tireless voice of Guido Schittone, who talks about the Porsche Italia single-brand store since the first edition.
There is also a free mode on Dazn: to enjoy all the races and on-demand contents of the season, in fact, it is sufficient to have an active Dazn subscription or go to http://dazn.com/home and, after clicking on one of the free contents available on the homepage, register for free in a simple way with e-mail, name and surname.
In addition to the possibility of following the live broadcasts, the contents of the Carrera Cup Italia (both the races and the highlights) will remain available to users even subsequently in on-demand mode.
