Meta AI: first in the United States, now in Italy
Meta AI was initially launched in the US in September 2023. Since then, the expansion has reached other markets including Australia, Canada, Ghana, Jamaica, Malawi, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe, although only in English. The arrival of Meta AI in Italy indicates that the global expansion of the service is continuing, and that Italian users will soon be able to use these technologies, even in the Italian language.

Meta AI: what can we do?
The launch of Meta AI will involve theAI assistant integration into Meta’s main apps, such as Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and WhatsApp. Additionally, Meta has developed a dedicated website for the chatbot based on the Llama 3 language model.
Users will be able to use Meta AI to obtain detailed information from Facebook posts, create images through the Emu text-to-image model, and take advantage of other advanced features. This integration will make the experience on Meta apps more personalized and interactive.
