Through his official Twitter account, Activision confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 it’s a reality. Unfortunately, they did not share more information about it. This should not be a big surprise, rumors have long indicated that the next Call of Duty would be part of the Black Ops series. To be specific, the information has indicated that this installment takes place during the Gulf War, and will have the subtitle of Gulf War. Although Activision has not confirmed or denied this information, Today’s revelation lends veracity to the leaks we have heard in recent months.
Along with its name and location, the leaks have also revealed that this is one of the Call of Duty games that has been in development for the longest time, so it is expected that the errors and problems we found in Modern Warfare III are not present on this occasion. Similarly, It is expected that at the summer event we will see a release date for this year.
Now we just have to wait until next June 9 to have more information. Following the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9, a presentation will be held focused entirely on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. On related topics, the new Call of Duty will arrive on Xbox Game Pass on day one. Likewise, this service will change after the arrival of this title.
Author’s Note:
I hope the longer-than-usual development period will benefit this game. After the fiasco that was Modern Warfare III, players deserve a good Call of Duty experience, even if Xbox’s involvement wasn’t as big this time around.
