Heat wave melts Doña Mariana’s gelatin stand

Mexico City.- The high temperatures recently registered in Mexico City They have seriously affected Doña Marinaan almost 80-year-old woman who sells gelatin in the Tlalpan mayor’s office.

His case has been widely disseminated on social networks, showing how extreme heat has melted your product and reduced its sales, severely impacting its economy.

Doña Marina was interviewed by the Telediario media, where explained how high temperatures have caused their jellies to melt quicklyforcing it to withdraw earlier than planned and thus losing potential sales.

“If I didn’t sell, I didn’t sell, and I have to go, because they let go a lot. So it’s more of a loss than anything. “I’ll take them and put them back in the cold,” she commented with concern.

The older adult explained that to maintain her business she needs more supplies to produce their jellies, as well as ice to keep them in good condition. The gelatin business is practically their only livelihood.

Doña Marina mentioned that she faces numerous expenses and that the current economic crisis makes it more difficult to cope with their situation.

Doña Marina explained that she has a sister who also sells jellies, but on foot. and they have been dedicated to that business for more than 10 years, but unfortunately the heat seriously affected their sales.

Therefore, a call has been made to the community to support it.either purchasing your gelatins or providing you with necessary supplies to continue with your gelatin business.

Doña Marina is found every day from 9:30 in the morning on the corner of Joaquín Romo and Ayuntamiento where they accept any contribution, whether buying their gelatin or donating ice and other supplies to produce gelatin, which will be of great help so that they can continue with their business in the midst of this heat wave.
