A shooting in the Peralvillo neighborhood, in the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office of Mexico City, left four people dead early this Wednesday, causing alarm and consternation among the residents of the area.
According to the first reports and what was reported by citizens at the site, two subjects arrived at the point and, directly, carried out the detonations and later boarded a motorcycle on which they fled.
The events occurred on Ludwig Van Beethoven Street, where violence broke out in the middle of a public street, reported the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC CDMX).
Department officials responded to a report of people injured by gunshots in the Peralvillo neighborhood, immediately requesting the support of paramedics from the Rescue and Medical Emergency Squadron (ERUM) to transport the injured to different hospitals.

The personnel of the Command and Control Center (C2) Center reported the detonations on public roads, which led the officers to approach the scene.
Upon arrival, they found three men and a woman with visible blood stains on their bodies, which indicated the seriousness of the situation. ERUM paramedics diagnosed two men, ages 38 and 55, with no vital signs due to gunshot injuries.
A 27-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man were taken to a hospital, where it was unfortunately reported that, due to the severity of their injuries, they both lost their lives. In addition, a 47-year-old man was taken under police custody to a hospital, diagnosed with a gunshot wound to the chest on the right side.
The shooting in the Peralvillo neighborhood left four people dead, marking a tragic episode in the recent history of the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office and putting local authorities on alert.
The SSC, in coordination with the Attorney General’s Office (FGJ) of Mexico City, has initiated an investigation folder to identify those responsible, analyzing the video surveillance cameras in the area to obtain clues that lead to their capture.
