Guadalajara, Jalisco.- As would happen with the International Boxing Federation (IBF), Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez would be conditioned by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) after beating Jaime Munguía in Las Vegas.
The organization would force the undisputed champion to enter the ring against Diego Pacheco, as he is the boxer who heads the super middleweight ranking.

At the moment, the American boxer does not have the recognition of a mandatory challenger, but the order from the World Boxing Organization (WBO) would arrive as the hours go by to have the possibility of challenging Saúl Álvarez.
It should be remembered that the IBF gave him a period of 28 days to face the Cuban, William Scull, who by decree is the main contender for the title because he is the best ranked according to the boxing organization.
The surprising thing is that neither of the two organizations considers David Benavidez as the fighter who has the right to fight ‘Canelo’ for the four 168-pound titles.
The only one that does have him as a mandatory challenger is the World Boxing Council (WBC), which is chaired by the Mexican businessman and sports administrator Mauricio Sulaimán.
During the presentation of the No Golf, No Life’ tournament, Saúl Álvarez said: “I am in a position where I can do whatever I want.”
It also opens up the possibility of facing the first undisputed double champion in the history of professional boxing, Terence Crawford, in Saudi Arabia, but “it depends on the money.”
