The new trailer for Shadow of the Erdtree arrived today and we are sure that it has convinced many hesitant players to finally embark on the adventures of Elden Ring, FromSoftware’s open-world action role-playing game. However, it is better not to wait for the arrival of the DLC before starting the basic game seen, given that to access the new content you will need a character ready to face the advanced stages. Luckily it is now on offer on Amazon Italy Elden Ring for Xbox (both One and Series X on the same disc) and for PS5. The current price for both games is not an all-time low. In the case of PS5 the difference is a couple of euros, while in the case of Xbox the difference is around 5 euros. Both versions are sold and shipped by Amazon.
Elden Ring, a long epic journey
Elden Ring, as mentioned, is a action role-playing game which is part of FromSoftware’s “souls” genre, such as Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne and (to a lesser extent) Sekiro. In this case, however, we do not have a closed world divided into small areas but a large open map that allows us to go wherever we want freely.
The mythology that forms the backdrop to the game was made by George RR Martin, creator of Game of Thrones (and not only obviously, The Delirium Boat for example is one of Miyazaki’s favorite Martin novels). The setting is the fantasy world of Interegno, now plagued by wars and plague, in which the player must become the new Ancestral Lord.
