Yes ok Kingdom Hearts came to PC in 2021, the beloved Square Enix series was an Epic Games Store exclusive, so many had not had the desire to experience the journey of Sora and company. Fortunately, after more than three years, this has come to an end, since the complete Kingdom Hearts saga will be available on Steam in just a few weeks.
Through a statement, it has been confirmed that All Kingdom Hearts games will be available on Steam starting June 13. On this occasion, players will have the opportunity to purchase three collections, each with a series of titles, or a package that includes everything. These are what will come to the Valve store:
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX
- Kingdom Hearts FINAL MIX
- Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
- Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (cutscenes remastered in high definition)
- Kingdom Hearts II FINAL MIX
- Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX
- Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (cutscenes remastered in high definition)
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
- Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD
- Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage
- Kingdom Hearts Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover
Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind
- Kingdom Hearts III
- Kingdom Hearts III: Re Mind (DLC)
Although pricing details are still unclear, each collection is expected to be available between $49.99 and $59.99. The interesting thing will be to see how expensive the package that includes everything in one place will be. In addition to celebrating this announcement, fans hope that during Summer Game Fest we will get a new look at Kingdom Hearts 4, the next big installment in the series.
While Kingdom Hearts 4 is likely to be Square Enix’s next focus, the odds of seeing this installment at Geoff Keighley’s event are low, but not zero. Remember, The Kingdom Hearts series will arrive on Steam on June 13. On related topics, Kingdom Hearts movie leaked. Likewise, Yoko Shimomura is already working on music for the new game.
Author’s Note:
While it’s nice to see that the Kingdom Hearts series will be available on Steam, I don’t understand the foolishness of a PC user to not play this series just because it is available on another store, which triggers exclusivity. This is still PC, regardless of whether it’s on Steam or the Epic Games Store.
