The free-to-play fighting game MultiVersus confirmed two new characters with a new trailer: Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and Agent Smith from The Matrix.
Jason Voorhees will be available when Season 1: Puns & Villainy launches on the game’s launch day. Agent Smith will make his debut later in the season. You can see the trailer below.
In addition to Jason and Agent Smith, this cinematic trailer showcases a number of famous heroes and villains from the Warner Bros. sagasincluding Wonder Woman and Joker (DC), Velma (Scooby-Doo), Bugs Bunny and Marvin the Martian (Looney Tunes), the Iron Giant (The Iron Giant), Rick Sanchez (Rick and Morty), White Tufts (Gremlins) and Finn the human and Cake the cat, a variation of Jake the dog (all from Adventure Time).
The trailer shows the various characters clashing against each other as the action takes us in various settings related to video games.
When will MultiVersus be available and what characters will it include?
MultiVersus will arrive on May 28, compatible with the cross-platform and cross-progression for PC (Steam and Epic), PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series
The list of characters available at launch includes Jason Voorhees, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Joker from DC Comics, Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, Gizmo and White Tufts from Gremlins, Bugs Bunny, Marvin the Martian and Taz from Looney Tunes, LeBron James from Space Jam, Arya Stark from Game of Thrones, Shaggy and Velma from Scooby-Doo (but not Scooby-Doo himself), Rick and Morty from Rick and Morty, the Iron Giant from The Iron Giant, and Tom and Jerry. Also includes Rendog, an original creature from the video game.
