French publisher Ubisoft has announced the availability of the second free update For Prince of Persia: The Lost Crownthe acclaimed return of the series created by Jordan Mechner, which also managed to have its say by becoming a metroidvania.
This second update is called “Boss Attack” and, needless to say, focused on the reuse of bosses in new game modes, which revive some iconic moments spent on Mount Qaf “with two new Artaban Boss challenges in The Haven and two new costumes for Sargon”.
In the challenge “Boss Revenge“, players are asked to face each boss individually, at any difficulty level. Their progress will be tracked by global leaderboards, which will record the best attempts.
After a little practice, it will be time for the challenge”Boss Rush“, which will nevertheless ask you to try to defeat all eight main bosses in a row, changing equipped amulets and Athra upgrades between each fight, and keeping an eye on health and potions. In short, veterans of the game will be really satisfied to be able to play Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown again with the new challenges offered, also because they are completely free.

But it doesn’t end there, because the update also includes the legendary costume of Prince of Persia 2008, unlockable as one of the rewards for completing the Boss Rush mode. There are also new ways to quickly move around the map using wak-wak trees.
As already mentioned, you don’t have to shell out anything to download it. Just own Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and it will be downloaded automatically. Ubisoft has already planned other updates arriving in the immediate future.
