Third Presidential Debate: ‘Submission in foreign policy is over,’ declares Sheinbaum

The presidential candidate, Claudia Sheinbaumof the Let’s Keep Making History coalition, during his participation in the Third Presidential Debate declared that Mexico’s submission to the United States is over in the field of foreign policy.

Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s policy abroad is a source of pride,” said the standard bearer of Morena-Labor Party-Green Ecologist Party of Mexico.

Sheinbaum made a brief account of what could be described as achievements of President AMLO’s foreign policy.

“We received vaccines during the pandemic. Now there is treatment as equals“We went from the Mérida plan to the Bicentennial understanding with high-level talks, now the coups d’état are condemned, our sovereignty is also defended and finally peace is sought throughout the world,” he said.

The Morenista said that the treaty with the United States and Canada must be strengthened and pointed out that work with the countries in the south of the continent must be improved.
