This weekend Charles Leclerc will have in mind to bring home the best possible result, but also a lot of Italy.
The Ferrari driver has unveiled a special helmet that he will wear this weekend at the Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna Grand Prix which will be held at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari racetrack in Imola.
The helmet of the 25-year-old native of the Principality of Monaco will not be characterized by particular designs, but by the colours. Green will be added to the usual white-red, thus forming a helmet with strong Italian colors mixed with those of the Monaco flag.

For Imola the vertical band that divides Charles’ helmet into 2 hemispheres will not be two-tone, but tri-color. The Italian flag stands out, as well as on the lateral parts, where the white-green are the background for the number 16 in bank-red. A chromatic trinomial that forms the two flags of belonging for the Ferrari driver, that of his native land and the land that has adopted him from a sporting point of view.
“Here is the helmet for this weekend. We are in Imola, near Ferrari’s home, which is also my home, in the end”, declared Charles in the short video presenting the helmet for Imola.
“Obviously there is the Italian flag. I really like this look, let’s hope it goes strong, since it’s the most important thing. Thank you so much for the support, I can’t wait to see you in the stands, it’s always a huge boost to we”.
“We hope to make you smile, to make you enjoy yourself from the stands. A hug and see you this weekend.”
Imola GP: Gasly dedicates his helmet to Senna
During the Imola weekend that we are preparing to experience starting today there will be another very significant helmet. Pierre Gasly thought so.
The French driver, who is in his second season with Alpine, recently did a show at the wheel of Ayrton Senna’s Toleman TG183 on the Silverstone track, using a helmet identical to that of the three-time Brazilian world champion, but also incorporating the main design of the his helmet.
This will also be used this weekend together with an under-helmet that will have the same colors as Senna’s helmet.
