lhe careers of James Rodríguez and Dorlan Pabón had many points in common in their early years. The two players stood out in Envigado, in the campaign that took the team back to A in 2007.
Both James and Dorlan were young promises of Colombian soccer. The first debuted in the first division at the age of 14 in 2006 and that year he suffered relegation to B, although he only played a couple of games.
Pabón, for his part, had started his career in the now-defunct Bajo Cauca, also in the second division, and arrived in Envigado as reinforcement to regain his place in the A. A third promise was also part of the team, Giovanni Moreno.
James left for Banfield in 2008 and Dorlan stayed a couple of more years in Envigado, before signing with Atlético Nacional in 2010. Leonel Álvarez joined them again in the Colombian National Team in the first rounds of the qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil , in which the ’10’ established himself as a star of world football.
After his resignation from Nacional at the beginning of this year after the elimination in the Libertadores, Pabón was without a club and had returned to training with Envigado. But now he has a new team.
Dorlan Pabón will play in the Kings League Americas
Dorlan will reunite with James in the Kings League Americas. Atlético Parceros FC, the team that Rodríguez presides along with streamer Pelicanger, announced the arrival of Pabón on their social networks.
Angellot Caro, one of the great figures of the Colombian Futsal Team, is also part of the team.
